I need to buy a new laser printer.

I need a colour one.
I will be printing 100+ pages a day on average.

What laser should I buy that is easily refillable?
I assume all need chips of some kind?

Ideally: would like automatic duplex printing - but can live without.

Importantly: these 100 pages will be labels - so thicker paper.

My previous printer would struggle with the thicker paper.
One at a time OK. But every 3/4 sheets, the button part of the label on the other side of the paper would get caught with the next paper coming out.

Thanks!

I would not recommend refilling a laser printer but to look for 3rd party cartridges instead if you want to go that route at all. 3rd party toner may have impact on the print quality and the lifetime of internal parts like the photo conductor. If you really want to go that route you rather should check first which printers work reliably with a particular type of cartridge/toner e.g. by asking a local supplier of such cartridges which printers customers are complaining least about toner problems . You may consider as well to buy a used printer since you may loose warranty on a new printer if you use unsupported consumables.
Labels are tricky as well in laser printers, not all labels - even those specified for laser use - run well in particular printers, it can be an issue with the paper path - too many turns - or with the labels itself.
