    I have MS Word 2007 and I checked the supplied fonts. The font is not found in my version of MS Word, the font that comes closest is "Palace Script MT". It is a small font, the uploaded sample is 48 points.

    you may search for 'Free Calligraphy Fonts' , there are plenty .
    I remember a font search engine - entering a few letters - but cannot find it just now.

    It's the 'Edwardian Script ITC' font I found on my W10 computer, I don't know where it came from.

    Fun fact: Spencerian was the predominant US writing style for business in the 75 years prior to the arrival of the typewriter.

    Thanks everyone.
    Stratman, interesting note.
    BTW as your picture shows, I did this as a child except that it was to attempt to recharge my 1.5 volt battery. It was one of those tall lantern batteries you could get that had the posts with the screw down clamps on it. I may have recharged it a bit, but the downside was that my sisters and Mother all exclaimed after the bang and the big puff of smoke that the stove stopped working. It's a shame that all of the safety weinies of nowadays try to stop this sort of introduction into higher knowledge with plastic covers on plugs. Children nowadays are deprived. ;)

    :lol::gig:hugs Great story!

    I was a wee bit anxious the first time I hooked up a 440 V (480 V?) line from a mobile CT scanner in my youth. Thankfully all went smoothly. As the technical assistant I also developed all the films - no digital - so I spent time in the dark room. Go AgHog! :)

    Maybe from MS Word? I have also got that font in Word 2007, but I think "Palace Script MT" is a closer match.

    Maybe the book title was not from a font but written/drawn by an artist?
