WF2530 skipping regular blocks across page

Wow,
Quite a few hours invested in this problem so far -PLEASE HELP!!

The printer prints in bands across the page - it simply skips every other half inch of printing. It is not as if the printing is spaced out - it is as if it prints every half inch, blanks out the next half inch, prints half inch again and so on down the page.

I have replaced the ink cartridges - I have downloaded the latest driver - I get the same results from different software - I get the same results when using it as a copier.
I have restarted the printer and the computer.

I tried contacting the Epson support, but their "sending a message" page opens up without a Submit button!!!

The attached photo is what the printing looks like and another is what their support screen looks like.

Hi @JohanP and welcome, I am sure you’ll get some suggestion as to what the cause of your problem is and maybe a way to fix it.

Please post a small section of your printout just to show exactly what your prints look like with the gaps in it, could you also take down the suppage jpg you posted because it contains personal information that shouldn’t be visible to everyone who will read this post..

or please run a nozzle check and scan that small part and post it here, there may be some nozzles missing

Sounds like electrical problem to me, but without proper images it's hard to help.

It appears to me that a range of nozzles is missing, those for black, please run the nozzle check via the
driver, run a cleaning cycle and run the nozzle check again to see whether there is any change/improvement to observe

Geee, I am learning a lot! Thanks again.

The nozzle pattern came out fine, but I did a nozzle clean and took the cartridge out and placed it in again. Ink charging now so I hope that all helps!

Thanks for feedback, some issues are easier to clear up than others, even remotely
