Vertical stripe

Printer is Canon MG5300, OEM carts with Image Specialists inks from Octoinkjet.

I've done loads of computer-generated and manual cleaning, including soaking the printhead with the Pharmacist's solution, but still got slight vertical banding just inside the left-hand side. Can anyone suggest possible causes and/or remedies, please?

Repeatable vertical bands are sometimes caused by a dirty timing strip. Use the search feature to search for "timing AND strip" (without the quotes) and you will find lots of threads dealing with this problem and how to clean the strip.

Got it! That was simple and it worked a treat! Prints are now perfect.
