Okay, I did a Cheap Versus Canon ink shootout and posted it here:

Compare two cheap ass inks to Canon-- you will be surprised what you find out.

MIS ink is 1/12 th the cost of Canon ink when bought in 4 oz refills.

MY MY MY has this board grown!!

anyway, just a quickie-- Inkgrabber.com has switched to G&G ink for Canon printers- this ink brand gives better color profile than previous Rainbow ink.

The downside, however, is that under testing-- so we are told- by Wilhelm Labs, G&G is not particularly lightfast.

So, as I mention on my page www.neilslade.com/papers/inkjetstuff.html if you need archivable prints, pay more for MIS or perhpas Colorbat ink.

The Inkgrabber carts should be fine for everyday casual use, and they are a cheap way to get refillable carts, which you can then refill with MIS or another brand bulk ink you like.

If you have experience with poor or on the otherhand, quite acceptable lightfastness from G&G ink, let us know.
