unlock Service Mode on an ip7250 ?

Hi there,
is there someone, woh`s had success in unlock the service mode on ip7250 printers ?
I have had success in reset ink absorber couter on an ip7250, but it is not possible to set the printer in srvie mode fpr a second time. Printer shows after 5-time-pushing the reset button the permanent orange light. So i suggest, that i can't reach service mode ....

Your iP7250 most likely has had service mode locked due to the use of a too old version of the service tool. I guess you used v3400? A newer version is needed. Using v4720 I have successfully entered service mode on an MG5450S that is of the same cartridge generation as the iP7250. You find much more info and a service tool for download in this thread. But beware, the service tool v4720 might or might not contain malware!

Sadly at the present it seems no method is known for unlocking a locked service mode
