I keep bidding higher amounts until I got to $35 and it said I couldn't bid the BuyItNow price but it also says the reserve is not met. Does this mean that when the time runs out, I will be the winner at the reserve price or can I only win if someone else bids up to the reserve price? Or another question is if someone else bids the reserve price, will it go up to the reserve price or just up to $1.25? It seems to me that the reserve price should be treated as another buyer (who is actually the seller) and if someone bids less than that amount, it should immediately go to that buyer's current bid. Otherwise, I'm bidding against a privileged buyer who will end up not permitting the transaction to go through. Does this make sense? Anybody know what happens on eBay?

I can see that but what was the reserve price?

I thought the reserve price was the minimum you would be willing to sell an item so why would you make that be the same as the Buy It Now price?

In all honesty I can't remember what the reserve was although the figure $25 seems to be nudging my conscious-self somewhat.

But you're sure the reserve price was lower than the BIN price, correct?

99.9% sure but you know how it is when someone says "Are you sure you locked the back door?!" :)
