Hi to all from a new member, and thanks in advance to anyone willing to offer some advice.

I want to print colour decals onto thin rice paper, and laminate them onto surfboards (the bare rice paper becomes virtually invisible once resin soaks into it) . I've tried to research best inks and printers for this, but I can't get any clarity on the best products.
I'm willing to buy a new printer (in the home/office price range) that has suitable ink cartridges available.
So I have the following requirements from a new purchase:
* Ink resistant to fading in harsh sun over time
* Inkjet rather than laser
* Relatively low cost as occasional use only
* Paper feed needs to allow rice paper, taped to a backing paper, to pass without jamming.

To some degree, there are UV resistant properties to the varnish used as a topcoat on the surfboards, but starting with the best UV resistant inks for the decals seems sensible.

If anyone can make recommendations available in the UK, I'd be very grateful.

Cheers
