I can use Illustrator, but CAD is a completely different tool altogether, I only wish I could use it dough, the nearest I can get to 3D design is the SCAD App.

I just watched this yesterday. I love watching guys that are great at design and make this stuff look easy.

I'm doing pretty well with Tinkercad, but I'd really like to learn Fusion 360!

3D scanner...
That is what I've been waiting for. I've worked with CT and MRI scanners and the images are very, very cool. Combine that with a 3D printer and magic happens.

If you did then your clone could do all the chores for Mrs The Hat while you have quality time with your printers. :thumbsup

And sign up as a hobbyist - it's free. Once loaded you will see a green 30 day trial button. Click it and select Startup ot Hobbyist and the program is then activated for 1 year.

After a year you can renew as a hobbyist again for free when the renewal prompt pops up.
