I like to make sure that my Firmware for Pro 3880 can not be updated automatically, but only manually.
Question: in what way can I avoid auto update?

It seems that Epson can also use iMac software to auto update Firmware on the Pro 3880?
If so, how can I avoid that to happen against my will?

I now have Driver 9.33 and Firmware P030D8 on my Pro 3880.

Thanks for your advises!

Are you on a Mac or PC?
Is your printer connected via USB cableor a network?

As the printer is now out of production and presumably dropping in the Epson food chain ratings, I would guess the chances of a firmware upgrade of any kind is pretty low.
Then again you know what they say about unloaded guns! :)

Harry,

Sorry, can't be of much additional help.
I am on a PC Win10 and have the same Firmware number but followed by -1.03.800E which has remained constant for the past 2 years.
