A while back I bought some Vinyl paper from Papilio in the US and when the package arrived it was the size of a big television set and inside was my small pack of paper and a free HP desktop printer.

I was about to put in the trash when my son said he’d use it till the cartridges went dry, then he’d bin it, the ink costs for these things are so outrageous that only a Feckin fool would use them.. That’s my take on HP printers..

P.S. If you can’t refill your current carts then buy a printer that you can… or better still switch to 3D printing..

The capacities of the standard type 63 cartridges are 3.5ml or 0.12 oz for the tri-color cartridge and 4 ml or 0,14 oz for the black cartridge. So I think this makes the HP ink much more expensive than Dom Perignon.

Here is a typical supermarket bargain HP printer from "Netto" a big Danish supermarket chain. DKK 199 = $ 29.65 and DKK 99 = $ 14.75. Cost of printer = $ 29.65 - (2 x $ 14.75) = $ 0.15. I think this is a disposable printer. I have seen printers like these dumped. The printers were like new except for being out of ink.

The capacities of the HP 304 cartridges used by the HP DJ 2620 are the same as for the HP 63 cartridges.

I see you finally realized you wouldn't be able to have your Big Gulp Bourbons and climate change contributing 3D printer anymore.
