Printer with CLI 221 and PGI 220

So I already own a Canon MX860 which uses CLI 221 and PGI 220 cartridges. Now I would like to get another printer but I would like one that uses the same set of cartridges. Any suggestion? I'm pretty sure I would either have to buy refurb or used but where?

Youd have to shop around for printers that use these cartridges and one of the best places to try would be Craigs List.
Yes the printers would be used but you can still get good bargains there.

Most of the newer Canon printers do take the 225/226 but will work happily
with a set of 221/220s with a chip swap so you can get one of them if the need really arises..

Funny you mention CLI-221, Druckerchannel only seems to know CLI-521.

The cartridge model numbers are regional designations and appear to use different algorithms in their chips. The 220/221 models are for North America.

Note: Some of the printer models listed may use more or less number of cartridges than your MX860. Use Canon USA or Google web site to figure out what consumables are required for a specific printer.

Thank you everybody! Those links are really helpful and now the hunt begins! This forum does not have a market place correct?

If you buy a used printer, at the very least see if the printer powers on without malfunction or error and then obtain a nozzle check or similar print out that uses all the cartridges so you'll know the printer and print head (hopefully) function properly.

There's plenty of gold to be mined in used printers found online using Craigslist or other similar web site. Just don't get stuck with pyrite.
