I am not an experienced with Epson. However, if you have followed all set up instructions to the letter then I recommend you call Epson Tech Support ASAP.
If the printer is brand new then it is under warranty. You should call Epson Tech Service for assistance and/or exchange of a potentially defective printer rather than asking for assistance on the forum. Start a service trail in case the error resolves but future problems surface in order to make a claim of a lemon. Protect your investment.
BTW...I called EPSON in Long Beach Ca, talked for 30 min, was transferred to the Philippines where they issued a free unit, and will overnight FedX to me, and I may keep the Brand New 6 ink cart !
