I'm really happy with how this turned out!

I was tired of using my flashlight to watch the first layer be laid down, so I basically remixed a remix ;)

I took this snap-on fan cover: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2131734

...and modified it with:

  1. Added an extension arm with an angled end to point towards the nozzle
  2. Inserted holes for a couple LED's (either 3mm or 5mm) at an angle.
  3. Added some wire clips to the side!
It's awesome! It travels and follows the nozzle perfectly so I see a great spot-light on the most important area!

@Nifty - That is very cool, but, are you sure you want to add weight or resistance from the LED cable to the mechanism?

I thought about that, and it's all pretty negligible (as far as I can tell), and it hasn't seemed to cause any problems so far :fl

(honestly, I have the same thought about the initials spinner I added to the filament feeder, but all seems to be ok)

It's great. Also you're designing useful things.

@Nifty, That looks far better this time, obvious this little printer is being the best out you and is showing you how to make things even better...

Just think of how many guys are missing out, by not having a 3D printer, Feck Coke, I’m loving it... :hugs
