- Printer Model
- Canon Pro1000, Prusa I3MK3
I have posted here before, but I'll introduce myself.
I am an electrical engineer with a great deal of knowledge in programming, system design, and network design. I also do some mechanical work and like to design things for 3D printing. I use the Alibre software for design, and Simplify 3D for slicing. I have an Flashforge Creator 3D printer clone by Monoprice, but I have ordered a Prusa I3MK3S. I also do photography, and have a Canon Pro-1000. I use mainly Photoshop CS6 with Luminar 4 and OnOneRAW for processing, and a modified Fujifilm X-Pro2 with a number of lenses. I also have an ancient Imacon Precision II scanner and did a lot of medium format photography using 6x7 and 6x4.5 negatives. I also have a Ricoh laser printer and an Epson V700 scanner.
I used to have an Epson 3880 until it developed the dreaded PK/MK switch problem, but figured it would cost more to fix it than just to get a new printer. The printer is still sitting in my basement and I am not sure what to do with it.
