New member with Epson Pro 3800

Hello,
I use a.o. an EPSON Pro 3800 which I purchased November 2009 but hardly used.
After more than 2 years not using this printer I started it up again a few days ago and to my surprise it still prints perfectly without a problem notwithstanding the fact that the EPSON cartridges have been in the printer idle most of the time for close to 5 years!
I now have sufficient time available to start using my printer regularly.
Therefore I decided to obtain refillable cartridges and I am interested reading about people's experience with this printer.
It is my feeling that this site could be very useful for this purpose!
