I've finally decided to go with an iP1000 from Canon for now, instead of ordering an iP4000. Budget reasons and RL obligations helped me in that decision.
Regardless, I'm very happy with the printer. It is slow, but faster than my old HP and Canon s200spx, and the colors are nicer and fuller. I have to refill after every few pages, but no big deal.
I'd like to express my thanks to Osage, d86cfv, Grandad35, fotofreek, drc023, and nifty for clearing up my issues and answering my questions regarding Canon printers and refilling. I'm glad I gave Canon another chance. This is a great forum thanks to you guys!
