New Buy Sell Trade System

Ok, we've turned on the new BST (Buy Sell Trade) and auction section of the site:

We've tested it out a bit ourselves, but we need our members to go in and play around with it. Feel free to start a few TEST listings (make sure to post TEST in the title and body of the post so peeps know it is a test) and we'll all kick the tires!




If you have any problems or questions, post them here with AS MANY DETAILS AS POSSIBLE!!

Bad example: "I couldn't post an auction!!! HELP!!!!!!"

Good example: "I clicked on this link here xyz.html, then I entered the following information: xyz, then I hit submit and I got this error: errorxyz. I also tried another browser and had the same problem.:

Don't you think you should change the title from BYC (Back Yard Chickens) to something more appropriate?

Just look at the left-hand edge of the title bar of either auction that is up right now. You actually have the title repeated, once with a white background and once with a colored background (it looks red to me but it might be brown). It's in the second one. Actually, now that I think about it, it could be different colors for different themes but anyway, it's the one with the white lettering (at least for me). Can't you see "BYC-BST - Test - This printer picture for sale!"?

Ok, the name / BYC issue should be fixed!

Also, please try posting a new item now and let me know if it works.

I just tried out your New Items for Sale and it worked a threat.

I didnt find it difficult to list the item; I just had a problem entering my new location in my profile,
i.e. Website, State and Region, they dont exist in this part of the world.

Thank God you didnt include Zip / Post code otherwise I would have been screwed altogether.

You should buy his poster--it's really great. Better yet, just steal it, I don't think you could afford the shipping!!

Rob, I got a message when my listing closed from Staff and under that it said Deleted User. That doesn't seem like a good idea.

I'll look into that, but I'm not sure that we'll be able to fix that one since the messages basically come from "nobody".
