Sold a brand new Pro-100 printhead to an ebay buyer.
Says his sealed head he received is not printing black.
2 pics posted here that buyer sent to me.
1 shows his previous head was printing black, while the other pic shows the new head not printing black.
The page count for original head shows 1-50, while the other pic shows 51-100.
I smell a scam, but wanted to get opinions here.

@mikem65d ...
As you say it looks like the buyer is trying it on, clearly the head that's working correctly has a lower page number as it's the one you sold them.
You could always message them and point it out they have it wrong.

It took him 51-100 pages to figure out the Black was not printing?

I would like more info about why he showed you a nozzle check from a different print head.

Could be poor ink flow through the Black cartridge.

Could be there is a malfunction in the logic assay board, possibly caused by a malfunctioning print head. Either malfunction can effect the other component. In other words, a bad logic asay board can cause a malfunction in a print head.

Could be the guy is mistaken about everything.

Need more specifics. :idunno

@mikem65d, what I can see from these nozzle prints, is a pure rip off artist at work, or a complete eejit, the page counts are wrong as @Technician pointed out and he clearly has a malfunctioning black cartridge that @stratman latched onto.

50 to one this guy is not using OEM cartridges and that’s his problem, because brand new sealed print heads work straight out of the package or they don’t, unless the user has ignorantly damaged it himself...

Just to add...
Should this whole issue turn into a dispute where ebay have to intervene, remember to play nicely. I'm sure you will anyway but the temptation is to let rip and tell the buyer to go take a running jump. ebay of course will have to read those messages and judge what's going on for themselves, and as they always favour the buyer anyway you have to tread carefully in what you say. Also don't forget the buyer could be reading this very thread. :eek:
