The German Druckerchannel Forum has published a pretty detailed test of these tank system printers

https://www.druckerchannel.de/artik...s_epson_ecotank_et_4850_vs_hp_smart_tank_7305

One detail about the inks is missing - its fading performance - all printers use a 4 color ink set with CMY dye inks and a pigment black

The Canon G7050 uses the GI-50 inks
the Epson ET-4850 uses the 102 inks
the HP 7305 uses the HP31 inks (model/product numbers apply to the Western Europe business region and may change across the world)

I did some ink tests just recently and can comment on the longevity of these inks , the HP31 is as good as the Canon Chromalife 100 or Epson Claria inks - 106 or 114 - better inks are not on the market.

The Canon GI-50 ink of the G7050 is pretty weak , and similarly weak as the Epson 102 inks , if longevity is of your concern you may better switch to a much better alternative - the Canon GI-53 inks for your Canon printer or the Epson 106 or 114 inks for the ET-4850 and switch the inks in the bottles.
