My son brought home some interesting inkjet "paper" that he found at Staples - it is magnetic so that it sticks directly onto a referigerator. The package (4 sheets) doesn't give any specifications, but it is about 50% thicker than Kirkland photo paper and it weighs about 3.5 times as much as the paper because of the heavy magnetic coating.

It printed just fine on the recommended "Glossy Photo Paper" setting, and it caused no problems with feeding or jamming in spite of its thickness or weight. Because these sheets stick together (thay are magnets, after all), they must be hand fed one at a time through the feed path that requires the least bending of the sheet. There was some slight marking on the first and last 1/4" where the sheet apparently rubbed on the print head, but that was the only problem. It costs in the range of $2-3 per 8.5 x 11 sheet, but this product allows you to print your own unique personalized color announcements (we did 12/sheet).
