Hi, I'm planning on starting a business in my country and I am looking for a good inkjet inks supplier. I am interested in the same supplier of inks for MIS and Colorbat. If you have any idea where I could contact that supplier, please e-mail me at blasterq@yahoo.com

thanks!

BQ, that's a good question. Any comments from the group on the BIG suppliers of ink?

Here are the two I know about:

Image Specialists: http://www.image-specialists.com/
Sensient Imaging Technologies (Formulabs): http://www.formulabs.com/

I've heard rumors that MIS, Media Street, and a few others use the Image Specialists ink.

Like I said, those are only "rumors" about which companies get their ink from. Where's our molecular / chemical engineer people who can examine the inks and tell who is selling what? :)

Anybody else know of good bulk ink suppliers, or who is selling who's ink?

BQ, what types of quantity are you talking? Gallons a week, a month, a year?

I'm actually thinking of trying to get a 20 foot container and see how well it sells. I'm sure with the digital camera revolution, people would find cheaper ways to print their photos.
In my country, while there are ink refill stations at the malls, they still sell each refill way overpriced. you bring your empty cartridge, and they refill it for you for half the price of a brand new OEM cartridge.
That will be only a few refills per cartridge becuase I understand, if you allow your cartridge to be fully empty, the life of the sponge decreases faster.
If I can introduce self filling, I'm sure my planned business will be a big hit.

Hahahahaha. Well, you should've told me so. Anyway, I'm looking for a good supplier with years of experience and success in their field. While I appreciate your interest, I cannot afford to be the first customer, too much risk.
