A friend of mine needed a new number for his front entrance doorway, so I did this up to show him just how versatile a 3D printer can be..

It’s 66 mm high, 120 mm wide and 5 mm depth, I used wide Latin as the font..
I sprayed the surface with a clear lacquer varnish twice for UV protection, so it should last as long as his mortgage...;)

Very cool of you to do that for him!

Why is the top so rough and has spaces? What speeds and layer height are you printing at, and how many top layers are you using?

I'd probably try to either use the "ironing" feature in CURA, etc., or even better: Print it backwards so the showing layers are on the bed, which will tend to be way more smooth!!
