Is there a way to stop the printer from showing "New Firmware" notices?

My XP-830 is practically harassing me to update my firmware... Is there some way to stop these notices from popping up?

If you could figure out what file phones home to Epson to trigger the notice, or, figure out the IP address where the update message comes from then you could block them in your firewall, if your firewall allows for blacklisting.

I have no idea what these would be.
