Inkjet printer components search

I am looking to source printer cartridge assemblies for a number of hp and lexmark printers. That is the copper contact strips and plastic assembly that the cartridge fits in to on the printer. I guess they must be available to buy as I presume they are used by the various refill testing machine manufacturers?

Can anyone offer any advice?

The National Technology Recycling Project (www.ntrp.org) lists computer recyclers across the country by state. My guess is that you may find inkjet printer parts at a recycler.

United Computer Exchange (www.uce.com) sells printers and parts in bulk. They may be a source of further info.
