i'm looking for info for a hp1512 printer. anything i can and can't do tips and tricks. thanks ahead of time!

I don't know what kind of info you are looking for, but a Google search quickly reveals that the HP Deskjet 1512 is a small two cartridge all-in-one, using the HP61 cartridges in the US or the HP301 cartridges in Europe.
