I have a large amount of ink 000 jet 000 carts pigments for my WF 1100 leftover from the junk CIS that I bought for it. I bought regular refillable #68 carts from MIS. While I would prefer not to throw out the IJC ink, if I use it in these carts, once I run out I don't know whether ink from another supplier will work or if I'll have to buy new carts all over again. Anyone have any experience switching brands without issues? It's "supposedly" Image Specialists but I've never seen this confirmed. MIS is too expensive for me, Cobra's more reasonable but I know they're definitely not IS inks.

That's not really what I was asking... I have ink from IJC but since I refuse to ever buy from them again I won't be getting more. If I use that ink, which I have a lot left of, in the new cartridges I bought, are there any other brands of ink that I can use that won't be chemically incompatible with it, or will I have to throw out the cartridges and buy new ones again when I run out?

Just curious if anyone has "switched brands" without buying new blank carts.

Theres no need to clean out your carts of IJC ink its I.S. ink,
so you can get a new supply of the same ink from Precisioncolor, probably cheaper too.. :)
