I have an Epson L805 6 ink printer. It normally takes epson 673 ink. I have a lot of epson 504 ink. Can I use the 504 ink in the L805 printer?

Epson T673 inks are Dye-based inks.

Epson T504 ink is Dye-based inks.

The L805 uses all Dye-based inks. So, yes, you can use the Dye-based T504 inks to refill your L805 that uses all Dye-based inks. Whether the color fidelity will be acceptable to your eye is another matter.

Beware: Some printers may use Dye-based inks except for one Pigment Black that is used for text such as on Plain Paper setting.

The L805 uses light inks which you don't have in the 504 ink set, you would need a dilutant to do a 2x thinner + 1x ink mix, or you use the 504 inks CMYK + LM and LC from the 673 ink set.
But - there is a caveat - the 504 inks have a much lower UV/fading resistance than the 673 inks so it's your choice, and you might need to create new icm color profiles if you use a non standard ink set together with non Epson foto papers.

Thank you for the information. I will ues a syringe and remove all the 504 ink I have filled the ecotanks with, as of now some of the inks are mixed. I will order all 673 inks. Saving the money is not as important as creating the best prints possible with the equipment I have been able to afford here in Nicaragua. Vielen dank
