When it has done this in the past I have selected "remove the device" and then "find a printer"....and when it has ...I have then selected "set as default".
Today I am going round and round in a circle.....and I have important fostering papers to print. Help would be really appreciated.
If I click on devices and printers I have five printers:
two are Epson. I have removed them a number of times but they keep coming back! growl. I no longer have an Epson.
one is One Note
Two are HP printers. One is showing as black "HPOfficeJetPro8720 Copy 3" . when I click on it I see Status: needs troubleshooting...and.... Status: Printer: Error.
The second HP one is titled "HPFCEB5F (HP officejet Pro 8720). This is showing as grey. it says Status: 2 documents in queue. I believe HPFC.....to be the exact reference for my printer.
I am still using Windows 7 as my PC refused to update to 10.
The printer is connected by lead to a PlusNet Hub One.
The lead currently goes into the red Broadband Wan connector but I wonder if it should be in one of the yellow Ethernet ones.
Thank you!!!!!!
Tim
