HP 8500 , Partial Rest, Semi-Full Reset, Full Reset

Dear Experts

I have got few printers that I don't want them and I am looking to do a reset for a learning purpose.

I tried to reset 8500 following the instructions in link below but it is for 8600 not 8500

They categorized resets to 3 different types Partial Rest, Semi-Full Reset, Full Reset

I couldn't make it work,,,,I don't know if I did something wrong or that won't apply to 8500 ??
