What would be the best method for an intensive cleaning of the Mylar bag in an empty Epson 3880 cart in which Lyson ink has been used?

I seems to be difficult (?) to remove all of the prior chemistry because of the internal valve area in the Epson Pro 3880.
On the other hand after having opened up the original valve to also enable filling these carts, (using the method jToolman) any cleaning solution can now freely move in and out of this cart.
Thank you for your advise!

Hi Harry, there is nothing to clean inside the cartridges at all, but if you wish to be sure, then removing any of the ink that might be remaining is easy, this is done by holding the syringe on the bottom with the cartridge on top and just drawing the remaining old ink out, its the reverse method to refilling.

If you want to be sure that all of the old ink is gone, you can rinse the cartridge with 2 or 3 ml of your new ink, and give it a good shake and then remove this ink using the same method described above, now your cartridge is clean and ready to be refilled...
