Newbie to Printing

I'm an adventurous almost 70 year old photographer who shoots aircraft, especially model aircraft, sheepdog trials and family.
My main gear is a Nikon D750 with a Tampon G2 150-500 and a Fuji XT4 with various lenses including the 100-400. I get reasonable results and post on Facebook. I use to have a Flickr account and have an Instagram Account but don't use either very often. The only time I print is a calendar every year for the family and that's through a company and occasionally had prints made when I was in a Camera Club.
I now feel I should print but you guessed it, I've bought a Canon 100S and can't get it to work.
