Hello from Mouse World

I'm hoping to be a new printer from sunny St. Cloud FL. I'm a hobbyist photographer, but advanced and serious about it. I'm using Olympus Micro Four Thirds cameras. I'm here to find out a couple of things. I've got an Epson 1400 that has never been unboxed. I'm thinking of changing to a Canon Pixma Pro 100 as they are on sale right now and I've heard that they have less problems for someone that doesn't print everyday and that they are much better at gray scale.

I'll be roaming the forums and can use all the help I can get as refilling will be brand new, and printing I'm sure has changed a lot since the last time I did so 8-10 years ago.
