Hello,

I am in the forum since a couple of days and I thought it's time to say Hello. My name is Markus and I just recently re-discovered printing with my Canon i9950. It was sitting for years in the shelf and was not used. However I had no problem at all after all this years just installed a new set of cartridges and it printed like before. I also did my first refills with 3rd party ink on the BCI-6 carts using the Durchstich method with no problem.

Hi Markus and welcome, now that you have said hello you’ll find it far more interesting and informative joining in.

The i9950 is a beautiful printer, my (First love) and I noticed your using BCl-6 cartridges in it, the CLl-8 cartridge are a better buy, slightly cheaper too than the older BCl-6’s, but never mind, welcome to refilling..
