Fill cartridge with white toner?

Hi there,

I'd really like to try out printing with white toner. However, I don't have an OKI printer and there are no "original" Ghost white toner cartridges available for my printer model.

On several chinese market places, white toner refill powder is sold. I don't know if it will work with any laser printer or only with OKI printers (no idea about formula) but I am inclined to try it.

Did anybody try this before, and how did it work out? Any place to get white toner cartridges for other brands than OKI? I am using a Lexmark CS727de.

@Testine Tester, It looks like you’re going to be the first guinea pig, but remember be prepared to purchase a new drum if it doesn’t work out, good luck with your new project..

P.S. yes there are differences in toner powers..

Yes, I know there are differences in toner powder, that's why I'm asking

But I wonder.... the Ghost White Toner is available for many different models, and I'm not sure they adjust the composition precisely for every different brand or even every different series. But I could be wrong, of course. However, I think they maybe have it factored in the china anyway and then just refill in different cartridges - who knows. I may test next year, too many other projects waiting this year....
