Epson Expression XP-640 Printhead

I am looking to purchase a printhead for an Epson XP-640 printer if I can do so considering its price vs a new printer ratio.

Does anyone know what the part number is as I cannot find any on Ebay or elsewhere that indicate XP-640.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Epson print heads are not easy replaceable by the home owner, and therefore are not freely available to purchase, it would be far easier to buy a new printer instead, Canon print heads are easily replaceable, but not Epson...

Thanks for your reply Hat and I know what you say is true but I enjoy the tinkering around with things and bringing them back to life.

the XP-640/XP-900 units were not that popular , with 5 inks, I couldn't see spares for these printers at various spare parts dealers.

I have tried searching for the part numerous times without success and I am hoping someone can come up with the Epson part number as other printers may use the same printhead.

This model of just throwing things out when in reality they need very little to repair them is sad.
