Epson C40UX printhead removable?

I use a Canon i550 as my main printer and have an older Epson C40UX as the printed on our spare bedroom PC. Neil's cleaning tips worked as advertised on the Canon, especially since the printhead just lifts right out. So, as I could find this elsewhere, does the printhead on the C40UX also pop right out? Or do I have to do major surgery to clean that printhead?
