So, I have been trying to run a test print on my Epson 11880. The cartridges are loaded correctly. The roll paper is loaded correctly. The printer displays "READY".
I have installed the print driver off the disk onto my laptop. I open an image file in Photoshop. I press PRINT, and designate all print options... but the dialogue box reads that the PRINTER IS NOT READY. I have checked the connections, a USB cable. I hear the signal that a new device is found, both when reconnecting at the laptop or at the printer. Still, the laptop does not seem to be communicating with the printer.
Any suggestions?
How can I tell which "PORT' I am connected to?
