I have the Fiery Express RIP that came with my Epson 3880. I am going to create a profile for my printer using a given paper-ink combination. I have read the documentation. There is one step where I am to depress the "Calibrate" button before I print out the target. There is no such button. I am looking at the correct dialog and tab per instructions.

Where is this button? Perhaps my printer does not support this feature? If this is the case, is there a way to have the RIP automatically link up the appropriate linearization data with the profile I create with my trusty i1Pro 2? I am looking for further color accuracy and consistency using this RIP. Perhaps this particular RIP will not provide me these features? Perhaps I am asking too much for what this printer can actually support?

As a side question, does not a RIP incorporate linearization data essentially in the printer profile? In the above case, I imagine it would be an external linkup.

Thank you!
