Duplicate Posts - Errors

Hey guys!

Thanks for letting me know about the duplicate posts and errors. The search table (which is written to every time you create a post) was corrupt. Basically what was happening:

1. You'd write a post & hit submit
2. The system would write the post to the database and then also try to update the search index
3. The index table was corrupt and didn't accept the database write, so it pushed an error
4. From your side it would just look like the post didn't go through
5. You'd resubmit the post and the process would continue... posted, but you didn't see the post.

If you see this happen again, try this:

1. Copy your message / post text
   
2. Refresh the page & look for your text
3. If your text didn't post, paste the text and try again

All the problems are far from resolved just yet, and maybe that's one of the reasons
why nobody is posting anything ?
The mail is still working ok dough.

What other problems are there? Please be as specific as possible (links to the pages with problems, steps to reproduce, browser version, screenshots, etc.).

Also, I'm not sure why you'd say "nobody is posting"... the data paints a different story:

I tried posting several times yesterday but got the error message. I've only seen several posts of which each unique post was repeated multiple times. One of the posters looked like they edited the same post several times.

So if there are a bunch of unique posts then I am not seeing them either.

I was able to post and now reply to a post (my own) without error message.
