Where are you storing your inks ? Glykoles as a part of the overall ink mix are used as antifreeze in cars and are dropping the freezing point of water significantly, I think you are safe with your inks under 'normal' cold conditions.

We don't know the amount of glycol used in the inks, so we don't know the freezing point of the ink. But I think the important question is :"Will frozen ink be OK after having been allowed to slowly thaw at room temperature?"

I think no tests have been made, but the subject of frozen ink has been discussed before. see this thread and this thread.

    Googling this topic...
    http://smallbusiness.chron.com/printer-ink-freeze-58638.html

The article suggests that water-based dye inks would survive freezing but pigment based inks would not due to aggregation of pigment particles.

Additionally, the water of the ink in the channels of the print head would expand when frozen and potentially destroy the print head. Same potential for the plastic ink cartridge.

This is good news for forum members who live in Yakutsk!

JP-E78 uses a solvent ink - with acetone etc, that's not the type of printer I'm using with aqeous ink - dye or pigment , I don't want a separate ventilated printing area for the VOC's - volatile organic compounds

Well in my case I am asking about not inks stored for long time in cold temperature conditions, just the beginning of the day in early morning when start on power of printer and room temperature lets say below 7 C then this make problem to prints result.

At first I got good page (first print) -BTW how many prints can done from print head alone- due to some inks still inside print head then after I get bad starvation of inks feeds from cartridge to print head?? Is it factor of flow inks and may be get differ viscosity of inks in cold weather ?? or printer parts ? after make clean print head I got perfect result then after two hours or many prints everything seem very well.!!

you may start in the morning with a nozzle check to see what the status is, and doing a cleaning upfront, there is not really much ink in the printhead itself, and even that would not flow if it is blocked on its way from the cartridge. It may not be the ink itself but some contamination of the cleaning unit, in the pad which is pressed against the nozzle plate in the idle position. Are you using original cartridges or other 3rd party cartridges or doing refill ?
