Canon Print Studio Pro

I've always gotten excellent prints from my Canon Pixma Pro 100 using Print Studio Pro as a plugin to Photoshop. Since the latest update to Photoshop CC 2021, Print Studio causes Photoshop to freeze, Nothing can be done until I force quit photoshop. I know others are having the same problem. Does anyone have a workaround? I want to do more printing.

I'm on a Mac using Big Sur version 11.6. I wouldn't have updated if I had known about this issue. Having researched it online, I know that others are having the same problem.

Consider downgrading your version of PS as a temporary fix.

This is for Windows 10 but chances are there is something similar for Mac.

I finally found how to downgrade to 22.2 and now it works.
In my creative cloud desktop app, where all the apps I've installed appear, I have Photoshop and on the right I have three dots (the menu bar) with 3 options: More info, other versions and uninstall. If I press other versions I can choose which one I want.

I have Photoshop 21.2.12 on my computer as well as the latest version of Photoshop CC 2021. I have the same problem with that earlier version. I'm afraid to uninstall that earlier version for fear that I won't be able to reinstall another earlier version. I appreciate your assistance. I will try to get help from Adobe. Thank you.

If there is an newer update then try it. Otherwise, as a temporary fix, downgrade the PS version to the one that you know works while searching for a permanent fix.
