If i am unable to clean the print head by normal head cleaning, taking the print head out, and using alochol on the nozzles, will this do damage to the print head? What would someone recomend do?
Before i do anything, i'd like to make sure it is the nozzle that are clogged. So while reading through the forum i found this test image. The cyan seems to be the problem with a clogged nozzle, or so it seems. It wasn't the best scanner that i used to scan the print, but i scanned it at 600dpi so if someone could look at it, and tell me what they think. Also this was printed on a 4x6 epson prium glossy photo paper.
I also scanned 2 photos i printed(taken with my 2 day old powershot G6), which show are easier to tell the banding problems:
All 3 images show LIGHT banding in both the magenta and cyan channels - the yellow and black both look OK. Des your nozzle check and service test print (see post #6 in http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=165) show anything?
