Hello. To first sorry my English. I bought PRO-1 from second-hand. I bought compatibile cartridge and printer printed only one paper and then i turned the printer off. After next starting pinter showed an error with batery (26x flashing orange with white flash). I changed battery and over Service tool v 3400 i set the time and after the launch began running 17x blinking error. Original cartridge does't effect for error. From service menu its:

17 times - (Error) - Paper eject encoder error - Error code: 6010 - Check points & Solution:

(1) Smearing on the LF / EJ slit film:
Clean the LF / EJ slit film using
lint-free paper.
(2) Foreign material in the paper path:
Remove foreign material.
(3) Cable connection (wrong or
incomplete connection):
- Motor multi harness ass'y (between
the paper feed motor and the logic
board ass'y)
- LF / EJ encoder harness ass'y
(between the LF / EJ encoder ass'y
and the relay1 board ass'y)
- Sensor multi harness ass'y (between
the LF position sensor ass'y and the
relay1 board ass'y)
- Relay1 flexible flat cable (between
the relay1 board ass'y and the logic
board ass'y)
Re-connect the cables.
(4) Deformation or scratches on the LF /
EJ slit film:
Replace the timing slit disk feed
film or the timing slit disk eject
film.

Parts that are likely to be faulty (listed inthe order of
likeliness to be faulty):

Timing slit disk feed
film
- Timing slit disk eject
film
- LF / EJ encoder ass'y
- Platen unit
- Paper feed roller ass'y
- Eject roller ass'y
- Logic board ass'y
- Paper feed motor

I checked both timing slit disk. Its ok. Clean LF EJ encoder, Logic board ass'y (when i give printing, program indicate error: 6010

Paper feed motor running.

Thanks for any idea.

Hi @Dzambor, I hate to say this but your bunched, changing the battery has caused your printer to partially reset but it’s still requires quite a few more codes to complete the sequence, your only choice now is to bring or send the printer to a Canon service Agent to have it reset.

26 flashing lights means an RTC fatal error and this can only be fixed by the Canon service centre, if you do send it for service don’t leave the compatible cartridges in the printer, put back in the originals.

When a low battery error is signalled you need to add an external battery to the printer using alligator clips to maintain power while you’re changing out the battery otherwise the printer won’t work again.

Sorry I couldn’t have been more helpful..:(
