This is my third canon and it's been years since I needed to learn how to communicate with the printer when using the carts that I filled.
So the two pieces of advice I am searching for from the folks here are:
What do I do when the printer wants a "NEW" cart and not the old one I refilled ?
And what is the best method for filling these new carts. I believe from the research I have done so far it would be best to purchase clear carts that hold more ink ?? What would be a good source for them ? In the past I covered the bottom of the cart with the orange plastic parts.. drilled a hole in the top, not worrying about the little ball... filled and plugged and that was that... There are many videos on YouTube for filling but I thought I would ask the experts here.. I think that covers it for now..
