Hi keep getting this error on my printer Error Number 6A80 the blue and yellow lights flash 12 times I have seen some videos telling me to push down purge unit a couple of time which I have done and cleaned the printer then works letting me print out a image as soon as it has finished the blue and yellow lights starts to flash again thanks for looking any help please

@sony53, there’s a couple of reasons why you keep getting the error, you may need to clean around the area of the purge unit, I mean give it a good splash of Windex, and clean up using lots of cotton buds and paper towels.

The other alternative is that a spring may have come loose and drop off the purge unit, so it’s either lots of waste ink or the spring, and that’s why the unit is not returning to its original set position..

Thanks for the reply i have cleaned round the purge unit so I will now try to see if a spring has come off
