Yes there most certainly is...
Just leave it alone and let your 9000 take care of its own hygiene..

Well, you don't want to leave it completely alone, you want to use it at least once a week. Even if you don't want to print something, at least do a nozzle check.

Most Canon printers only have a problem with the pigment black ink when not used for a long time. Since your printer only uses dye inks, you probably won't have any problem with it for a long time.
