A while back, I bought third party ink for the HP that I have. Well, you know the story on that. I have researched the topic and there's a thread containing HP into Epson printers, but what about the other way? Are Epsons pigment based while HPs are the ones that need heat?
I've looked around on the web for the answer and I found a thread on the tom's forum, but nothing here that would answer my question. This is my daily driver that I use so that will affect the print quality results.

Epson printers can take any type of ink (piezo, no heating) while Canon/HP works only reliable with ink that is designed for inks that wiill be heated (bubbljet, ink is partially evaporated). So yes: HP ink can be consumed by Epson printers.

That's wonderful news to hear. I now have the sudden urge to print stuff.
