Can a PGI-5/CLI-8 resetter work for PGI-220/CLI-221 carts?

No, you will need a resetter specifically made for your cartridges. The use of a wrong type resetter will not reset the chips and might ruin them.

There exists a universal resetter
for PGI-5/CLI-8, PGI-220/CLI-221 and PGI-225/CLI-226 cartridges. This is the North American version of the universal resetter, there is also a European version that resets PGI-5/CLI-8, PGI-520/CLI-521 and PGI-525/CLI-526 cartridges. So if you order a universal resetter be sure to get the proper version.

Is there a respectable US source for that resetter??

I been looking for a USB powered resetter for my 226/5 cartridges, I don't trust eBay enough for things like this...

EDIT:
Found one at inkjetcarts.us there mobile site is easier to navigate then the desktop one....heh

Alibaba can be a great friend when you want a good chip resetters...;)

I am a rather paranoid individual...

There’s no need to be paranoid about using Alibaba, most guys are at first till they realise they are 100% trustworthy..:thumbsup

But with EBay wholeheartedly ...
