So this is how Canon is going after refillers!!!

One set of carts will not likely get you through even 25 sheets. So that leaves you with 200+ more sheets to paper the wall.....or get more ink to print. But how much will this paper "cost" you if you chose to use Canon ink?

Give them a printer and they will print. Give them paper and they will print more. This actually benefits refillers who will get inexpensive aftermarket ink and Canon paper after getting a printer at a fantastic deal. Time to get a second set of cartridges...the ideal setup. You can look at it either as free cartridges or free paper... You can bet a lot of these cartridges will end up on Ebay.

Canon will actually be helping refillers instead.

a better deal is to buy 2 cli-42 inks and get 170 sheets of 13x19 ....1 20 sht glossy, 2 50 sht semi gloss and 1 50 sht luster that is added for free when buying at least 2 carts.
I am doing it 2 at a time to have the carts so i can have a spare set to refill with PC ink.
selling half of the paper to cover the cost of the ink carts.............thx for the free ink and paper Canon

I didnt really need a 4th set but 8 packs of 13*19 semi gloss and 4 packs of 13*19 pro luster and 4 glossy II 13*19 (dont really like this stuff) was too good a deal to pass up....heh

Not to mention that you could put the two sets of carts on Craigslist at 70% of new price and have a lineup at your front door in a couple of hours.

Thanks Canon. We need more of these refill discouragements.
